SoundStation2 - No Display
Polycom's next generation conference phone redefines the standard for business quality voice conferencing. With full duplex technology for natural, simultaneous two-way conversation, the SoundStation2 will exceed your expectations in small to medium conference rooms. This basic model does not have a display and is not expandable like some of the other models, however it is a great entry into high performance teleconferencing.
NB: Suitable for up to 8 Participants.
SoundStation2 - with Display
Full duplex Teleconferencing unit for natural sounding, free flowing two-way conversation. This model is recommended for small to medium sized conference rooms. The voice quality is equal to the SoundStation Premier and has a 50% increase in microphone sensitivity over the original SoundStation Basic. Users can speak in a normal voice and be heard clearly up to ten feet away. New features include backlit display with call information - number called and the duration of the call. Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) reduces distracting room and background noise. Also includes telephone features such as redial, mute, transfer and hold.
NB: Suitable for up to 8 participants.
SoundStation2 EX (no Mics)
New improved model that has twice the loudness and 50% better microphone sensitivity than the original SoundStation EX. Recommended for medium to large conference rooms. Features backlit display with call information, number called, call duration. Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) reduces background noise, from fans, air conditioners etc. Includes an Auxillary audio jack (2.5mm) to connect devices such as a mobile telephone. Also includes RCA connection for an audio recorder or external speakers.
NB: Suitable for up to 16 participants with the potential to expand to 30 when using extended microphones.
